Ummmm did he have "relations" with said flamingo?
When I was working at the jail, people charged with having sex with animals was not unheard of. Including goats and chickens and geese.
I think that alot of so called "experts" should heed the words of Buzz Beurling:
"There is no room for softeheartedness in war".
There is room for mercy - if the enemy wants to be treated that way.
I have a point:
I think I have a point. In the Operational Planning Process the plans people usually presented three COAs. Two viable and one throwaway.
This, I think, is the throwaway.
Don't get me wrong - they are good in their lane. I have never seen anyone else move troops from Point A to B as quickly as they can.
They are good - to a point. Don't ask them to chair a meeting between nationalities. We do that far better.
Here's my thoughts for what they are worth:

I think there are still a few around who were in Bosnia and the years the CAF spent in "peacekeeping ops" paid...
I am not against sending troops into harms way, but neither am I for it.
IF the GoC decides it needs to send troops in any capacity, they better be properly equipped and led. The CDS and others have to make theat very clear.
Adding: We sent a brigade to Hong Kong that were ill prepared and it...
War should be the last option. I recall the days where the Shah was overthrown, the American Embassy violated and hostages taken. I recall the debacle of Desert One and how the US started taking the threat seriously and developed the Spec Ops we see now.
For 47 years this regime has been sowing...
I hope they are sitting on the bottom flooded and unusable. If they are...how did that happen?
I would expect you're right. No doubt a book deal is being negotiated as we speak ;)
I have to agree. My grandson wanted to use my pellet gun to knock off some squirrels. I said no - too many chances of things going sideways including people who would report him. I don't want the local SWAT guys around their house.
Yes that too - especially in our society where we expect instant results despite all the information at hand.
