Of course they did. There are standing CONPLANS in CENTCOM for this. Doesn't mean they were pulled off the shelf.
One report cited a source stating that when the Chairman briefed POTUS, the latter was convinced that the country would overturn the regime after a decapitations strike and if the...
It isn't necessary to try to divine US strategic objectives in this war - Hegseth and Caine explicitly listed them in a press conference:
Dismantle Iran’s missile launch capability
Degrade Iran’s defense-industrial base
Degrade Iran’s navy
Prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon
The one...
I think that's too much for a section commander to be concerned with. Perhaps a micro UAS to peak around the corner, but otherwise you are getting away what a section should be focused on, which is direct fire engagements at 100m or less.
That was a breakaway by Kingston, and I'm fairly certain implied a sharpshooter at the platoon level. I'm not sure I've seen sharpshooters employed outside of an ad hoc role in Afghanistan, and the R22eR homebrew course was not seen by many in the infantry as being "worth the squeeze." I also...
I thought the podcast was great. His message was strong, and well delivered. The priorities were clear and his tone was good. While some found the non-political stuff boring, it showed some depth (and probably was enjoyed by those who like MMA).
It's actually reassuring to have a Prime Minister...
Go read B-GL-300-008. "Validation. Validation verifies that PME or training has adequately prepared the target audience to perform the operational or institutional requirement." "Confirmation is an assessment of how well a tactical organization has mastered a particular BTS, or set of BTSs, and...
Validation is a process for ensuring the training delivered (generally individual training such as a course) does what it is supposed to do. You aren't validating the training audience, but the training itself. It is generally something conducted by training SMEs and TDOs and focuses on ensuring...
It's one thing to spend that kind of money and see it used to advantage by communities on the rise, but it's another thing to see it all spent on communities that continue to suffer from endemic poverty and lack of services and opportunity.
Haven't had cable since 2018.
I save time and just scan twitter, which through a good following list aggregates items of note, and its all free. Add to that some substack and podcasts, and you can get what you need for $0.
It would probably be more useful to find a link that wasn't burdened with a clear bias against the Prime Minister and that appears bent on simply finding (or fabricating) fault as opposed to providing a balanced assessment of his mandate.
Maybe something like this would be helpful...
Why would I? I'm not the one with crippling Carney Derangement Syndrome that comes to an Army site to incessantly post for years about how this country is seven days from self-destruction.
4 year DT may just be like a dose of Buckley's - it tastes awful, and it works. If a 2% military, greater infrastructure development, and national projects are what we get out of this, then we'll be better off for it.

Gotta start somewhere. I'm happy trade and development is being announced as opposed to sunny ways, regardless of whether it comes from Mr. Carney, Mr. Poilievre, or Ronald MacDonald.
Things like this lead me to believe its more than just theatrics...
