Divining the right role, capabilities, structure, and Regimental System for Canada's Army Reserves

Gary O'Brien was once with the Black Watch and was in it during the Disbandment of the 1st and 2nd Reg Force Units. So he should know first hand what this move will do for morale. I can tell you now, if that man ever shows up at the regiment, the Pipes and Drums will be waiting to Pipe him right...

West Virginia Man charged with Assault/battery for passing gas

I pass gas in Church if I don't like the preaching.  I also did it on a Tube in London, people couldn't wait to get out

I also think Best Buy may be in with Canadian Tire as some are in the same store together, like the one on Cambie in Vancouver.

    Military Discounts List

I am ex Military, a Veteran. There have been a number of times and places where I have asked if they have a discount for Veterans, most of the time, the answer is no.  So get all that you can out of it now.

1974 Valcartier Grenade Deaths (gov't action, memorial, etc.)

I was not able to make it myself. I had booked my Vacation already for Sept, made a trip to Dublin Ireland, London England and a side trip to Paris. I even missed our own Black Watch Cadet Reunion for the first time.

    Cadet long service medal

My good Friend, you are so very welcome but I think the big thank you goes to Capt. Andy Kerr, the Black Watch Web Master who built the site.  So I understand that the old haunt we use to go to after Parade nights is no longer, it was Bens. In all my life, I never thought that place would ever...

The Legon also has ex Reserve Force Members as well, you don't need Reg Force Service. As long as you have been in the Forces, Reg's or Reserve, you still can join the Legon.

    Cadet long service medal

I would get a letter from all of the Cadet Units you where with and ask them to put down how much time you served on each letter. Then submit them to Capt. Knowlton.  Tell him that Kinsley said hello. :salute: ;D

Sometimes I do and every so often I am able to look up information on them, to the point of finding an address and phone number.  The one passing himself off as a Sgt should be stopped so he doesn't con anymore people.

Just for the fun of it, look up on SuperPages.ca for EBAY Calgary, they should have a 1-800 number. Give them a call and ask them if they have Automobile Storage, if they say "yes" give them the name of that so called Sgt and if he has a car being stored and waiting to be sold and tell them why...

Ex Black Watch Cadets from the 60 and 70's

I guess all one of us can do is call up a unit and get an answer right from the horses mouth as we all seem to have a different version. I was in the Cadets way back in the 1960's. In those days, an Officer Cadet was just that, an Officer in a Cadet Corp and no such a thing as CIC but we did...
