G - Geographical Factor - General
6. It is essential to know geographically where a member can perform duties without significant limitations in effectiveness and/or important health risks to self or others. Three main factors are involved in this area:
a. Climate - Some medical conditions...
Well my RC just called and I had to bring in some documents. As it turns out they are sending my file for the board even though my medical is waiting to come back and there was an issue(3 for geographical)
Yeah my medic told me there would be absoutely no problems and it would be back in about 3 weeks....I later found out he wrote me down for a 3 on geographical and well it got sent to Borden over 2 months ago and I am going to miss the fall DEO selection board so I am hoping my medical will be...
Wow thats rough...I guess you are still young so it should rapidly increase once you start training seriously. I am 6'3 285lbs and can benchpress 315lbs 12 times....the majority of my friends and people that train seriously at the gym do not have much problem benchpressing their bodyweight for...
Pushups are extremely hard on the joints(elbows and shoulders). I do not recommend doing them over a long period of time but really start to hammer them out the weeks leading up to your fitness test. A good way to develop the muscles used for pushups is by doing benchpress. Hold the bar with...
Well I have all but wrote this fall board off....no word back from my medical and even when it comes back I will most likely have to undergo some sort of tests to prove I am fine...(I stated I had a few migraine headaches when I was under the age of 5 but have not had a headache since)........Oh...
Holy shit Stymiest that is most likely what the problem is with my medical...I am now 24 years old but mentioned when i was young (under 5 years) I'd get migraines but have not had a headache since then................that is fuckin crazy, what program am I going to have to register in?
I am not sure, I think you need to just focus. I got 30/30 and when I worked it out on the paper I got the exact answer. I only got 9/15 on the first section though
"recommendations within nine months on how the military can loosen rigid recruiting rules that he believes exclude healthy and gung-ho Canadians on technicalities."
I have a feeling I may fall under some technicality for the medical even though I am healthy....the only thing I can think of why...
I am more or less in the exact same boat devoid....my medical has been in Borden since August 19th and has been pending or processing for a few weeks now.....However when my medical went out for some reason that I have not been able to figure out I was given a 3 on geographical factor and you...
No a 5 is standard to anyone not applying to be a pilot or something.....so in other words you want a 5 there.......if you were applying for a certain occupation they would have to test you there, however you are not so you are just given a 5
I assumed it was something like that...in a way I am hoping it is something minor with my urine so I can take a retest....either way I have really been on the medic to find out the issue of why I was catergorized a 3. My file apparently did not get approved by the medical officer in Borden as...
I just called and apparently there are 19 logistics officer positions open, so if I can get this medical issue cleared up, I think I have an extremely good shot.......now the suspense of getting my medical back is going to kill me, I am counting on getting a letter saying their is some issue...
OK I have a question with the urine sample, when is it actually evaluated???? Right on the spot while you are in with the medic??? or will the medic get to it later in the week etc....
The reason I ask is because I was categorized a 3 for geographical by the medic. I have been wondering the...
Congratulations man, don't question it, just go with it...hahahaha
But yeah that sounds kind of strange, I was under the impression that the DEO board would meet in Oct/Nov for the Jan BOTC
