Still going strong at the squadron Radop. We just ran a two week course that included guys from out units ( some not even sigs ) and we also are still teaching it to Roto 4 guys.
H*ll Radop I'm not worried , being here I know I'm gonna go.lol. Just gotta wait for number 2. Finally got our medals the other day by the way. (and dont forget Me and the wife get to double that $ ) :salute:
Actualy I was out on the road in Kabul almost every day. I was there as a dispatch rider or SDS driver so I never worked in a CP the whole tour. Sigs can spend lots of time out and about or they can never leave the camp, it all depends on your job within the trade.
On Roto 0 all us SDS guys (dispatch riders) got sidearms after pleading for a shorter weapon to carry in our SUVs. The sigs who are currently ramping up for Roto 4 are all taking Brownings with them.
The Tac vest has 2 removable C-9 pouches and 2 Removable canteen pouches. The Small pack has 2 "side" pouches and 2 "fanny packs". Fairly sure that is right but at my age the brain sortta goes south you know. Anybody coroborate?

I am more than happy to oppose my " bosses" on this one. I do have to admit though that after reading some of the posts here that I find myself torn. On one hand I have already sent off an e-mail and I feel like I need to withdraw any support I had for this museum, on the other hand I feel...
Everybody gets the same kit at BMQ. Airforce, Army Navy... everyone gets the same gear. Once you get to trades training however.....

Is it just me or does this country have an undying need to beat itself up and punish itself forever for it's mistakes instead of honouring it's triumphs and great deeds? I do believe in the phase "lest we forget" but this still rings badly for my ears. :salute:
