I was just thinkin about the OPSEC issue here and we all know that Jay4th and I love talking about OPSEC. I see this as a breech, then the videos on youtube.

The ones we found were stamped with the symbol, ie crown, of Queen Victoria with the date 1867 on it.

I the rifles were transported back to Canada, not destroyed. Will most likely see them in the near future in the PPCLI museum in Calgary. The story being that they took them off a dead brit soldier back in the 1867.

Yeah the police, if thats what you can call them, have the decals , but if the vehicle is coming towards you its really hard to see the POLICE on the hood or the sides. Then again the taliban don't drive around Kandahar in trucks with armed guys in the back either so....

the yanks all have Aimpts mostly, i think the aimpionts would be better!

i used an EOtech on my C8, but after a engagment of about 200m were an combatant was moving right to left , i tuffed it for either an open sight or back to the ELCAN. But hey looks cool on the weapon if thats what your going for! :P

I asked to get posted to Kingston for that reason, but i was told that it wasn't a place for Infantry Sgt's. I think there's time for alittle change to that thinkin.

Alot of guys returning are getting posted to the schools. There at least 4 Snr Nco's and my Pl Comd going to the Infantry School, so that will help the system learn more  and i have also asked for a posting there.

I wish we did have a better Lesson learned cell over there compared to the Americans per say, but we are so behind. We were the Lesson Learned cell over there. Its getting better. I was interviewed by a Capt over there from Kingston about changes to our trainning for future mission, so yeah i...

i agree George! photos are a bigger problem over there the videos. The guys are looking at OPSEC and the videos have been edited for PERSEC reasons.

And the reason i used the word jealousy is that some people see that stuff and feel its something wrong, but most combat arms see it as educational ie lessons learned

My problem is then is no OPSEC over there and everyone there will tell you that. Thats what i think people don't understand , so complaining about on here is just funny, ask many person on here ie Jay4th and others.

Yeah like on the ground fighting! risking my life , and if there's videos out that might educate future Infantry soldiers and show them how it is on the ground. Oh and i am far from over myself champ!

I agree with Bobby, i seen the videos, my freinds from my Coy are in the video and i see nothing wrong with it. There was no OPSEC issues at all. I guess jealousy has reared its ugly head again!
