What about french AOR Meuse, IIRC this ship just decommissioned from french navy, maybe if we buy the russian Mistrals france will throw in Meuse for free.

Boeing has 5 unsold C-17, will Oz take 2 more, 2 for RNZAF ?, IMHO Canada should buy all 5 but I would be happy with just 1 more aircraft. 

IMHO these ships would be ideal for RCN fit Phalanx and SeaRam complete fitting out in Canadian yards, would be biggest improvement to CAF since C17's, Vimy Ridge and Juno Beach would be great names.

Cancel FWSAR use funds to buy more C17's cascade C130J to SAR role.

Perhaps its time for USAF USN to return to Hi-Lo mix. F-35 is provide to be much more expensive so existing types F-15 F-16 and F-18 types should be produced operated in parallel to F-35 F-22, reducing F-35 production by 1/3 or 1/2.

IMHO France should not deliver these ships to Russia, Canada could buy these ships they would complete fitting out in Canadian yards. HMCS Vimy Ridge and HMCS Juno Beach would be great names. To promote ships to Canadian public emphasize ships disaster relief role and large on board hospital.

Limit AOPS to three ships ordered additional icebreakers for Coast Guard and arm Coast Guard.

IMHO the RCN would get a better bang for it's buck building hulls overseas with final fitting out and refits in Canadian yards, cost savings would be huge.

Additional C-17 great news, should by more than 1 however.

Certainly always thought FWSAR program was RCAF trying to get more airlift using SAR as cover.
