how about unit held guns. Well i guess i should just cut to the chase when will my guns be inspected? and will they have to go to ASU Chilliwack to get done.
with inspections now under way, is it safe to assume that a cause of the cradle failure has been determined?
also just curious as to what the inspections entail.
the instruction i've been given is:
no live fire. period. (blank included)
no spreading the trails. (that was actually when the brake occurred)
no unclampng of the cradle.
Yaay!!! got 3 of my gun tractors back!! Now if only they had some thing to tow!! 6 out of 7 unit ML's passed inspections and restrictions are now lifted. finally a little bit of good news.
before my unit gets too hot and h***y. can anyone tell me if the ML's (read Gun tractors) are allowed to go out into the field. ie going cross country.
it was a well done story, but it's still wrong. this roto is the last "full" combat roto, while TF1/11 will only have a couple of months of combat before the mission ends. but how's splitting hairs.
was talking in general, but Global is reporting the last Canadians going to the 'Stan.

5 Fd Regt had one with them down in Yakima during the Easter weekend. What a POS!! could only do 40 kph up hill, it has a 75 foot turning radius, driver said parts were falling off and everytime the tailgate was lowered it would slide out of alignment.
Why couldn't we just rebuild the mlvw's...
