I've heard from my squadron CoC that the 2012 class will be doing BMOQ at CFB Kingston this summer, in place of doing it at the Mega. Anyone outside the RMC circle heard of this? I know last summer there were rumours we would be doing IAP in Kingston, but those turned out to be baseless.

West Point Weekend. Yes, a weekend, however it is one of those little trips that apparently don't happen very often. My point is that RMC and USMA West Point have a history of exchanges, weekends trips and the like. Piper's statement that these things don't happen very often isn't true.

Wrong. These exchanges are commonplace. Already been pointed out by another poster. As a side note, I'm actually going down to West Point on the 5th. No, such things are not rare.

The reason they don't plow very often in Edmonton is because City Council never sets enough money aside for snow removal. By the time winter is over in Edmonton, (might be a long time yet) in April-ish, there won't be any money left for any large snow falls when winter returns in November.

If you get a CF Issue dufflebag, or clone, it will help you on FYOP. Makes it easier to pass it off as military kit.

Here's a question that was never answered in any of my Military Knowledge classes: At what point are CF members allowed/ not allowed to sign petitions? Municipally? Provincially? I'm assuming Federally would be a big no-no.

Keep in mind there IS a distance between RMC liaisons and the CFRC/D. When I applied my liaison said beginning of January (2008) however my CFRC was quite adamant that they weren't accepting any applications past the 21st of December (2007). Hell, that was the Friday I went in for my interview...

Take a look on Ebay if you haven't already. I know almost any Canadian surplus store carries them. I think his email gives him away as USAF, not a CF member.
