These cars take a beating, beat the hell out of these for 2 days straight on EATD in NC. Not a problem for the overworked ex police cars they pick up at auction. I would love to see any other car take the abuse a crown vic can.
I would assume that these are trials. We were told that we would be doing some type of debrief with the pros and cons of the SORD Harness mid tour. If theres any truth to that I have no idea.
There has been talk floating around that more reserve positions may be opening for Op Attention. No not all positions on the tour require Mod 6. However, I do know that anyone who was in a mentor position and wasnt qualified PLQ was almost immediately sent on Mods 1-5.
If you want to go on tour...
I concur, a coworker of mine is roughly 6'2" i would say but around 280 lbs. We actually had to adjust his shoulder straps to go approx 6-7 inches past where the fabric stops. Otherwise, his chest rig was more of a chest bra.
My apologies PuckChaser, I forgot to specify which CO. It was my home unit CO, not the Task Force CO. I don't believe anyone asked the Task Force CO during his brief.
Advantages,
If you like driving, its for you. Specialty qualifications such as Tractor Trailer and Bus you could use on retirement. When you are on the road you are basically your own boss, but you must be responsible. TD Trips are great, you make a lot of extra income on those. Snow removal is...

So not meaning to throw a wrench into things, but our CO just informed us in a briefing that the Medal would be the GSM. Is something that is new for ROTO 1?
You're odds are good of attending a CLI course, if you are a good cadet and your Trg O agrees. When I was a Cadet, the only summer camp I attended was CLI Adventure (at the age of 17). The following summer, I was a staff cadet teaching Basic.
So, they will be downgrading it t 3 and 3 but they had another meeting to re-asses that decision? So its possible they could go back to 4 and 4 if I understand that correctly? Another question, not to pry into others financial but can anyone comment on what the 3 and 3 would amount to for...
My apologies for reviving an old thread. Just wondering if anyone can confirm what the Risk and Hardship levels are for the various camps, or are they all the same? If the same, could someone confirm if they are 4 and 4?
Just be sure that you check off that you DO NOT agree to pay for the lost kit. And make sure that the sup tech you hand it to doesnt check off the other box before handing it in as SOME do here.
No actually quite the opposite, I have had many helpful clerks. On the other hand, I have had many that would rather check status updates on facebook, help with your issue. I did not go in "demanding" anything. Nor did I use the "I got it last time, why not this time?" line either. That was...
