Found out that my background check was completed yesterday. I'm on the almost final step now... just waiting for the enhanced reliability to be signed off/approved and then I'll be merit listed. Not sure how long it takes for the reliability status to be approved, but I'm hoping it doesn't take...

I just got word that my background check is finally done! So now I'm waiting for the reliability screening to be signed off and then merit listed. Hopefully that doesn't take too long! I'm getting so anxious to get going. :P Hopefully you won't be waiting too much longer deskjockey

Congrats!! I got word last Friday that my re-enrollment waiver is back and approved and that my background check was just waiting on confirmation from my school and one last employer before that will be done, hoping to be merit listed this week!

Well, hopefully all of that doesn't take too long. I know for me it took them about a week to initiate my background check and about a week from there for Garda to contact my references (only had to call one as that person gave them enough info to cover 5 years)... And yeah, gotta love the...

Yeah... there shouldn't be a single set back, everything has gone through smooth so far and I've gotten nothing but great support and help from the CFRC staff. I'm hoping where there are 3 platoons going in for that date that I still have a pretty decent shot, but I'd be happy with August too...

*Update* - Interview and medical went well, passed both. Now just playing the waiting game with my background check and re-enrollment waiver. Once those are both done and my medical is back from Ottawa (was told there would be no issues there) then onto the merit list! Here's hoping the waiver...

I thought I completely bombed it when I took it. Turns out I qualified for every NCM and Officer trade. So try not to be too bummed out right now. You'll get your email shortly and I'm sure it'll be okay. Just gotta stay positive!
