For those interested, here is an open source look at some of the intelligence assets used during the cruise missile strike.

Isn't the "new Avro Arrow" thing just a joke??
According to the Walrus:

And according to Company Check - Bourdeau's (former??) UK based company has a networth of - £898,021.00 (that's negative; aka deeply in debt)...
Maybe a quantum radar jammer? Quantum radar homing missiles? Decoys? Cyber attacks?...
And don’t forget that stealth aircraft are not invisible to ‘conventional’ radars.
If you don’t believe me ask this guy: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/1999_F-117A_shootdown
It will be interesting if it works.
Lockheed Martin patented some sort of quantum radar technology in 2008 and the Chinese claimed to have a quantum radar in 2016, so I'm not sure how secret any of this is / should be.
Quantum technology seems to be the wave of the future.
Here is a primer...
Well this doesn’t seem like Afghanistan... we are sending 6 helicopters, not a battle group.
And I’m wondering if workups would have started long before the Mali mission was announced.
Edited to add: I’ve heard of units deploying with very short workup periods as well.

According to the Irish times, the President of France telephoned Putin at noon on Friday and the French DM says that the Russians were warned before the raid.

This is my line of thinking. If the US wants to destroy a few minor targets in Syria that won't change the status quo, why would Russia try to stop it?
edited to add: but, as others have mentioned it may have been impossible for the Russians to detect and engage the cruise missiles, as it is...
Maybe there was no real benefit to shooting down the cruise missiles? If Russia attempted to shoot down US missiles there would be a financial cost and it could escalate the conflict.
Russian SAMs aren't free and there are only so many of them in Syria. Why use them to defend against a...

there should be a course schedule, course info, etc
You might have to browse a bit to...
I believe the CFSAS offers a DL basic electronic warfare course as well. It was pretty easy and would benefit a NCIOP as it is partly about radars and the jamming of radars
if you tell the rental company that you are a government employee and ask nicely they will usually allow a second driver for free. (at least in my limited experience)
I don't remember what kind of credit card I had, but I think the CO had to approve the application for it, so it might be the...
1. Couldn’t your subordinates just say they don’t have personal credit cards? Or that their credit cards are maxed out? There is no way for you to check.
2. Doesn’t the military issue credit cards just for this purpose? (Or have the military credit cards been discontinued?)
3. Would their be...
Random story:
One time when I was in the navy I went to a career manager / MOC briefing. Someone asked the CPO what the navy was going to do to reduce the number of people releasing. The CPO answered that the navy wasn’t going to do anything because it was a self-correcting problem. He...
