Is there anywhere that says what they actually mean by "no symptoms" "intermittent symptoms" "mild/moderate daily symptoms" " persistent, severe symptoms" ?
Are they even a defined term? Or based on whoever is assessing for that day and how they are feeling?
That last quote sums up a lot about how most Cpl/Ptes feel about leadership now adays.
I doubt that letter will even make it around to where I am at now, the CoC already knows how most of us feel.
@Tarlouth
That very well be true. How ever it isn't likely to happen, I'm too lazy to work in the civilian world. Luckily for me there are lots of ACISS leaving and I'll get promoted.
@PuckChaser
Yeah, it is a bit of a stretch, but there are things done the old ways just because that is how...
Mine took 25 weeks after receiving medical documents, they sent a letter saying it was in my favour, but no benefits until their doctor checked it out.
So watch out for that, I'm just hoping that the second time isn't as long of a wait.
I have LOTS to say about our command structure. The amount of times I've heard "it's done this way because I said so" is inexcusable. And until things change higher up in our command, those new MCpls are going to be shit. Leadership starts from the top, not the bottom. When I was at 1 Sigs MCpls...
I put in a claim for an injury and had to wait 29 weeks for an answer. This was after waiting about 6-8 weeks for the medical file to get to VAC (the main building I assume)
Now I have to deal with a branch of VAC and after all that waiting and they came up with that they want one of their...
If only there was a magical place that existed that everyone world wide had access to. It could be like a web that connects millions of people!
Ah, but that is just a dream off in the distance I guess.
Everyone has great ideas about the trade, and chances are if you've mentioned it recently it has been brought up many, many times before. Now if your CoC actually did something than that is another story.
1Sigs when Joeschmo (if he is who I think he is...) was awful(2008-2012ish). No RSM even...

Btw, that is this threads start date. At this rate I'd expect the LSVW replacements to be all around Canada before any useful information comes out.
Wait until IST gets spec pay, and the guy beside you in your job gets 3 years back pay and you get jack squat simply because they checked a box.
You do the same job, but one gets paid differently.
That is going to be exciting. And my VR will be in the hands of my supervisor the next day.

Is there something that says it has to be done within those 16 weeks?
My 16 weeks was up early December, called them a couple times, and it's gone to a special board now that focuses on cases that are behind. Atleast that was what I was told yesterday.
No, he isn't monitoring the net. People under him are.
The net isn't a normal net, it is for aircraft who don't monitor it 24/7 and different flights are up all the time, so different call signs all the time.
The majority of calls coming into my station are them asking for traffic from wing...
I understand the single syllable argument. On perfect comms it could even be better.
But when you're dealing with planes that are half way around the world talking on the radio isn't the clearest.
Even today, when told to stop using the word "negative" I started getting the response "confirm NO...
I would just pass the traffic, or say standby for traffic.
It's for planes, they don't really monitor the whole time they are up and just do hourly check-ins.
All the pilots also use negative in the same situations, so this isn't the "oh it is just silly airforce" thing.
Edit: I'm not saying...
There is an issue at work. It seems like the stupidest thing in the world. But it is actually an issue that someone wastes their time on.
When talking on the radio (specifically HF if that matters at all, which I know it doesn't) what is the response to:
Any traffic for me?
No traffic for you...
It turns out it wasn't because of regs or anything passed down, it was because it looks nicer.
I wasn't refusing to listen to orders when I asked the question. All I was told yesterday was that every vehicle had to be reversed in, including bikes. First question anyone should have is why. Why...
