Recently there was an unscheduled board which resulted in some earlier than expected placements.  Apparently there were some holes to fill on a bmoq serial.  I was wondering if anyone knew when the following bmoq course is scheduled.  I am curious if it is before november selection

I reccomend talking to a recruiter.  They will  have advise you what degrees are acceptable and better advise you of your option.

It sounds like your main objective is to get out of the submarine trade,  and hoping to get fast tracked back in by accepting any red trade.  I think this is an ill advised and short sighted tactic that will bite you in the ass.  There are a boatload of risks in getting out for the sole purpose...

Best of luck.  The wait can be frustrating, and temptation to accept other trades for the sake of expediancy can be high. The system does work, just not always as quickly as we would like it to.  Play safe. 

My bad,  had travelled extensively from cairns to Sydney and crossed my details some.,  GC is doable in a day from Brisbane, but as I was called out on, definately not from sydney.   

Depends on how much time you have,    there are  excellent , and inexpensive transport links via rail and bus connectors. So a day trip to the gold coast is doable, .    I never did the bridge walk along the top of the harbour bridge and regret it now.  Kings cross is a spectacle of touristy...

I have been waiting for log selection boards which were also said to sit nov 4.  Encouraging that some of you who were also waiting for nov selection have had selections already.  Now I cant help but wonder if log selection may occur earlier or not. 

Have been told mars is closed as well.  Interested if this has changed so I can apply

Was recently told arty is open, would have put my name in for it but my h3 disqualifies me. 

I don t know if this is still allowed but people have applied to delink rations and pay meals directly.  Depends on base perhaps but this was 13 years ago in esquimalt.  Hedgeing your bets on a career choice based on R and Q charges seems shortsighted to me.

I dont think it is a concern.  How you perform now will have far more impact.  There are as likely to be thuds with ribbons, as without.
