Thank you for the replies MM, Modlr and Mario.  My registration within BC and AB will knowingly expire due to myself attending BMQ in January.  I will have to re-apply and spend yet more money to get renewed if stationed in either Province.  :(  Or does the Forces cover the cost of PCP/EMT...

Welcome to the club Dooley!  See you in Jan.  :cdn:  I constantly think about BMQ.  The days are not going quick enough.

I did the testing at the garrison back in June for the Reg Force.  Since then got the phonecall for the job offer (Med Tech) and am starting BMQ Jan/11.  Are you going to stick with Reserve or go Reg Force after school?  Are you in highschool or TRU?

Congrats Tony.  I did the testing in Kamloops aswell.  What trade did you apply for with the Rangers?

I have started doing that.  How far do you usually pound the pavement for?  I have started with give or take 2-3 miles 3-4 times a week.  After I usually feel like hacking up a lung or 2.  I'm going to step it up with the distance in the next little while.  Is your achilles 100%??

I too checked out topics on Borden.  One thing that came up with Borden compared to St. Jean was Borden has better/healthier rations.  Also, we can go watch the Canucks kick the maple leafs a*s on the weekend.  :nod:

Not for us.  I hear St. Jean is packed.

First weekend off will be one to remember.  But I can safely say for the people who go out, I feel no one will remember it. haha. 

Likewise.  It is going to be a great time!  5 months to go.  I hope it flys by.  So, how are Ontario winter's.. if anyone knows?

Does the Reg Force member have to get registered under the Provincial body in that province where he is posted to be eligible for the MCSP?  I'm licensed under 2 Provinces; BC & AB.  With that being said, in regards to license maintenance for the 2 im registered in, how would this work so they...

Could one work casual or on call shifts for EMS while employed as a Reg Force Med Tech?  Would this be frowned upon?
