I'm afraid I don't know but its safe to say you'll be assisting in some capacity. As far as I know they make it back some weekends but I've also heard of them spending weekends in some ports. I guess you'll just have to wait and see for the specifics.

If you mean the NETPO's then they learn basic seamanship skills and will rotate through a few of the positions on the bridge. The NETPO sea phase is usually attached to a MARS III or sometimes IV sea phase.

If we were to accomplish all of our objectives without ever having to resort to violence (not likely) would we not be as successful as if we had to use force? I do like that quote though.

I went on RIMPAC for my sea phase on NETP-O back in 2010. But like you said the sea time issue is a factor now a days.

Lots of people have gotten it while at RMC. You just have to plan it right.
