Neck-guards became mandatory at RMC this year. Besides that Intramural hockey is full equipment including face mask.

From what I can remember hearing this summer is that their combining a couple of the messes (therefore knocking down a bulkhead) and rearranging the bunks to fit more of them. That's part of the solution anyways. I don't remember the other things that their doing to expand living space.

There's plenty of this at RMC... well maybe not the male/female ratio aspect of civi u but having St-Lawrence College and Queens nearby helps a lot.  :nod:

I use my own equipment to play intramural hockey. You can use the sports stores equipment but I suggest using your own if you  can...  During the hockey season, there's a locked equipment room were you can keep your stuff at the arena.

No kidding. When I saw the JR Mess on the frigates for the first time I was pleasantly surprised to see how much larger they are. I don't know.

I find the interior of the frigates more spacious as I'm not prone to hitting my head as often as on the 280's...

There are several people that I know who are married at RMC and they live out. I do not know what the policy is on being a married first year cadet is but once in 2nd year your husband should get the "ok" to live off if the current policy continues.

Ok, IAP doesn't exist anymore. Hasn't for a couple of years now. What everybody will be doing in August is called Recruit Camp. It's two or three weeks depending on if your Civi U or RMC/CMR. During Recruit Camp you learn the basics of everything (ranks, drill, general military knowledge etc)...

There's someone who's in his mid-thirties in second year at RMC right now who did prep year.

They made that mistake with a few of my buddies too. I wouldn't worry about it. That is unless the government is planning on reopening the college completely without telling anyone....  :o
