If I remember the numbers from last year correctly, there were approximately 5000 applicants and about 500 spots for all of ROTP (including Civi U). Hopefully the number of spots increase as RMC Saint-Jean gets up to capacity.

My acceptance letter says RMC St-Jean because it was written in English. If I were referring to St-Jean in a spoken conversation I would say "CMR" or "RMC St-Jean". Normally I say CMR unless the person doesn't know what that is.

Well, after 4 years in cadets I am now officially retired as of Sunday. I finished my cadet career this past weekend by winning the Eastern Region Air Cadet Drill Competition in Quebec City. What an experience that was. I shall miss cadets very much but every good thing has to come to an end...

I don't think being French has anything to do with going to CMR as 've heard of a few people going to CMR that know little to know French.
