I agree, even though the release times may be decades or a hundred years, the affected parties still would not be able to be held accountable but at least those embarrasments or mistakes would not be hidden for ever.

Rolaction occurs more often in some trades/elements than others. I can speak of the navy life, we don't get relocated very often as the ships are on one coast or the other. My dad had 33 years in the navy and was never relocated. I have 11 years in now and spent them all on the east coast...
Left nut for a duty watch every two to three months? Count me in! The only break we get is when we return from a major deployment, either a six month NATO or time in Arabian sea. Even then we take our leave and return to the duty watch rotation after a month.
Duty watches are part of life in the CF. Some units have it better than others. When you are posted to a ship, time between duties are measured in days. I have been on rotations that were one in ten. It is also not uncommon to come home from a month or two of sailing and be on duty the day...
