    Lordosis and the Forces

Hello, First and foremost, I tried searching but found nothing specific to my case. And as it stands, I have passed my medical and the tech said all checks out and looks fine. I've been merit listed and am just playing the waiting game. Now, to the matter at hand.  This may be just a personal...

Did the Army Loose A Lot Of Troops?

Appreciate the link Mario, but my question was about why (for this year specifically) recruiting numbers seemed a lot higher for PPCLI than the other two regiments.

    Application Process Samples [2003 - 2018]

Without giving too much away, I'll give a little tip. In my experience with the test, yes I studied all of the basics about what is on the test. I practiced my verbal skills, spatial skills and problem solving. But I remember one thing that a friend of mine told me before taking the test. He...

Did the Army Loose A Lot Of Troops?

Believe me that doesn't bother me in the least. I respect both the RCR and PPCLI, but the PPCLI has a rich history in my family. I hope to one day call the regiment my home as well. On another note, I'm a bit confused about people comparing attrition rates in both infantry regiments. What are...

Did the Army Loose A Lot Of Troops?

The only thing I heard (In regards to PPCLI) is that they have a lot of spaces this fiscal year. The people I spoke to at my RC were saying numbers in the 100's for PPCLI. I'm not sure what it's looking like for RCR but I would imagine similar. Also take into account, Alberta culture is a bit...

    Application Process Samples [2003 - 2018]

It's kind of funny when you look at it. Even just hearing something small can give you the biggest motivation. And I wouldn't say I'm in a better or worse position. Nobody knows how long it could take for either of us. I'll try to keep at it, I think the hardest part so far has been trying to...

What book are you reading now?

Strange, looks like I have the 2009 version. I'll need to look out for the updated edition. Thanks for the heads up.

What book are you reading now?

I just started doing a second read through of "Where Men Win Glory" by Jon Krakauer. It's about the life of Pat Tillman, who walked away from a 3.6 million dollar contract in the NFL to join the US army right in the wake of 9/11. It tells about his life and moral obligations during the war...

Thanks, I'm really hoping the wait isn't too long. I would love to be booked for fall or early winter, but I'm aware it could be awhile. But I will for sure tell about St. Jean when it all comes together! Maybe I'll write my exploits in a book one day.

    Application Process Samples [2003 - 2018]

Same thing for my interview. I asked about the short time frame too. I was just told that they recently restructured the interview process. I can't speak on the previous interview process but for me it went as expected. It wasn't too short but it wasn't too long.

Just applied, would like some information

I am by no means an expert, but from what I've gathered the process can very greatly between people. For some it is short others it's longer. It really depends on the fact that everybody is unique with unique circumstances. For me personally, once I sent in my initial paperwork it was about 3-4...
