So the 15 was pay day... I didnt get paid. I talked to my course staff, apparently my route letter for the course didn't go through properly or some administrative screw up like that. My course staff said that I would get a contingency payment next week. Not too sure what that is, would anyone...

hm, well that sucks for me.... chances any higher if I transferred to an Inf. unit? infantry isn't really my thing though. I would assume there's no going on external courses until you're finished with trade qualification training?

I know basic para is mostly combat arms, but what's the likely hood of someone from CSS getting on a jump course? Im currently wrapping up BMQ-L/SQ and I most likely will be doing a unit transfer to a combat engineer unit, but even then are the chances still slim?

The joining instructions ask that we bring documentation showing we have either a current CF EXPRES or Land Force Command Personal Fitness Standard evaluation. I wasn't given this at my unit. This is going to cause a few problems isn't it.

The training will not be done at RMC. the joining instructions say that it will be done at CFB Kingston.

So I'm just wondering, if I was told I'm SOL on the ID as of right now, should I take Skeletor's advice and just tell the course staff when I arrive at BMQ of my predicament?

The clerk knows, I had told her when she called me. She gave me the extension for 2MP. The commissionaire from 2MP just said I was SOL. So I think I will contact someone from my unit, because I don't want to head to Kingston with a whole bunch of administrative issues and roadblocks.

@Teager I'm being sent on the summer BMQ at CFB Kingston. Starts on July 3rd.

Its almost the end of June, I highly doubt it. I only received my offer last week. Chances are all the spots have been filled. Unfortunately, you may have to wait till next April when the new fiscal year starts.
