What is the latest on the trade badges?  DP1=the tank, DP2=?, etc.  Has anyone heard about a RECCE trade badge as there is no more tanks in the system?

I have talked to the Ontario distributor for Simunition.  The barrels are $214.00 but they will only sell to the military, not to an individual.

Well, I got a look at the "new" BTS.  Eleven points and a sheet of paper that is a photo copy of last year's BTS.  So what ever happened to transformation and training for the New Reality?  If domestic operations is supposed to be one of our tasks, where are those BTS?

Any ideas who will make up the 8th car?  Should the troop leader and the troop warrant make up a patrol or should each have a junior car?  Any thoughts, comments?

There are some interesting things going on right now.  I believe the length of the class C contract is 10 months.  You will need to train to ELOC Level 3 at your unit and level 4 at CAC before the contract.  We should get the briefing soon (I hope).

I can't speak for others but religion hasn't really been a factor.  If someone identifies themselves as needing a certain diet or whatever, we try to accommodate as much as possible.

I agree with BOSSI.  If we must have something, I think a bar to the current Special Service Medal that says "Domestic Operations" would do.
