That is more then true. I think the problem, which has been stated previously, is the ratio of men to women. Because of the few women you work with in the combat arms, the greater their actions influence your opinion.

I think people with no experience can only be Med A's, and if you have a Pcp you can apply as a med tech . I may be wrong however, I am not in the medical side of the CF.

It would depend if the other unit has positions available for you. There are also attach postings, but id doubt your unit would go for that if youve just joined them.

Ive heard many times now that BMQ L and infantry DP1 are now combined, but I know people in the infantry who did them seperately in the summer which just passed?

If you are looking for an advanced way to get to Captain, I dont think a CFR is a way to do it.

It depends on your unit, my unit allows it while others do not allow you to until you are finished BMQ.

Which can seem nice when youre packing it, but quickly turns into a pain the arse when you are humping it! Which is why I like my old ruck.

I dont that using the fact that you were 17 to be a good a good crutch, I joined at 17 and know many who joined at 16 who stuck it out.

I dont think they are as common, but i have friends in the reserves who have taken full timeBMQ during the summer. I believe it was one month long.

If it is only the one summer it shouldnt be to big of an issue for your unit, however it will slow down your progress in training.

Thats not what he is asking though, he is asking about applying as a reserve MP and MPO at the same time.

thats for regular parading, not bmq. Bmq is generally every other weekend for about 13 weekends.
