Changes, needed fixes in Cadets (merged)

I would put more rifle work in the cadet movement.  Put the army back into army cadets.  Improve the CIC training courses to be more closely related to actual military training.  Then again you always need to take into account costs, personnel etc.  But shooting a daisy air rifle piece of junk...

    Replica Lee Enfield Rifles

most units that parade with .22s parade with the rifles that are premanently plugged or modified so they are unable to fire rounds.

    Then and now ...

it is what it is now.  Cadets isnt the same as "back in the day".  Everything has to be politically correct, you have to call them "cadets" not troops, and we dont go play rambo, but as Bob Dylan said "the times they are a-changin"  If you want to fire the big rifles and dig the trenches join...

    is it too late

its never to late to contribute to cadets and the military.  Even if your over 65 you can volunteer at cadet corps' and maybe even work at a CSTC as a CI.  Just talk to a recruiting officer or the CO of a cadet corps you want to volunteer at.  From what I've heard its not very difficult to get...
