Its harder to enforce PT in larger corps since more cadets are able to cheat on their push ups in the back rows of the platoons.  Its also harder to take an entire corps on a run when you have 60-70 cadets to manage and only 7 or 8 seniors NCOs to supervise

To clean off dirt and scratched on your white webbelt for C1s apply white crest toothepaste generousely to area.  Rub with standard issue paper towel.  Rinse with damp paper towel.  Repeat. ;D

If you have a cookie cutter, dont shine it at all, all you do is dull it up.  Other than that put some brasso on the kiwi cloth and rub your cap brass on the cloth.  Thats what I was told.  For boots I find buffing them with nylon from panty-hos or something like that makes em shine up really...

Thats true, it just depends on how well you did during your course.  They made me the parade commander for the Alpha Company grad parade last year at VACSTC because i can yell really loud lol.  Just do well and you will get rewarded.  Also when you go to CLI one cadet is assigned a "corporal" ...

They seem to do the same amount, it just depends on what regiment/squadron you join.  For marksmanship opportunities, again it depends on the regiment/squadron.  Some cadet corps'  are very close to their reserve regiment, so the senior cadets get to fire the large/small bore weapons a little...

Yes it is your fault if your ACR is bad.  Its up to the junior and senior NCOs to prepare them and drill the hell out of the cadets.  If they dont like it then too bad for them.  We practice for weeks before our ACR and have an entire weekend devoted to practice.  You have to MAKE them get it. ...

thats too bad.  It seems like a good course to take if your interested in enlisting in a reg/reserve engineer regiment, or interested in going into civie trades.  I think they should keep it.  I would have taken it if I was too young for staff/exchange.

when i took riflecoach this summer we shared a barrack with the pioneer males.  They were really positive about the course and they really liked it, seems like a good course to take if you are too young to staff. 

LEAD BY EXAMPLE!!!! I always lose respect for a superior when they tell you not to do something then go around and do it themselves.  Dont goof off around your cadets.  Use the tough love approach I find that works really well.  hope this helps.
