yeah that would work well too, I've seen a few cadets from the other corps that works out of our armoury wearing them too, but only on the ODs, I havent seen any of them wearing cadetpat

Perhaps if they made badges that say "cadet" instead of "Canada" on the camouflaged slip ons?

cadets is not the army, its just army cadets  ;D dont worry about it like I said, if you listen to your superiors and be a good subordinate you will succeed and do well.  Just LISTEN!!! and you'll do fine. Take good notes and keep quiet during lessons, show initiative and volunteer to do things...

hmm interesting.  I've seen the kind of cadetpat material at Wallmart, I wonder if one made a slip on out of the material and sewd on an OD rank insignia if that would be ok to wear?

Perhaps someone could shed some light on something.  Are the cadets with cadetpat allowed to wear cadpat slip ons?  I have been told that its not allowed by some people yet other people say its ok, and the CSMs in Vernon wore them as well.  Some people say its ok as long as the "Canada" badge...

It depends on who does your kit inspection.  A friend of mine at NSCE got his axe confiscated while another was able to hold onto his.  Anyway, if you want to be popular.....SHOWER!!! However I do believe that the axe body wash is still ok to have if i'm not mistaken.  Anyway you dont really...

I agree with you, I didnt mean intentionally not packing important kit, because that would just be stupid, what i meant was, that even if it was raining and cold I would still enjoy it. exactly.

haha ok perhaps that was a little uncalled for, and the army out of army cadets has been done to death, but there is nothing wrong with enjoying camping and the outdoors, even if it is cold and wet.  And no, I dont play airsoft.
