Same, I'm shorter and weigh a little more but I'm in pretty good shape and am considered borderline obese but they don't take into consideration two of the "gifts" or "curses" (if I'm running) I have been granted.

Also you mention coming out as an LT. If you are doing civilian Uni and then join the military you would be a 2lt from my understanding. From there you would wait for your LT and after that captain.

Yeah, mine's been a three year wait so far. And I'm pretty sure it doesn't have anything to do with my qualifications not being up to Par.

Yeah the Fredericton half marathon. My friend and I were supposed to walk that to help her prepared for Nijmegen.

I agree. When I was doing the couch-5k I had Nike + going at the same time so it could record my average running speed. The couch-5k is an awesome program though. I completed it about a month ago and two weeks ago I ran 10k on a whim so it works!

Update- Interview booked May 22!

I'm in the same boat. This is my third year. I was hoping to be gone in the spring but looks like I'll be waiting at least until August assuming all goes well. Interview is the next step.

I go to my medical in an hour. :S I'm nervous despite having already done it before and knowing full well it is easy. As far as priority hiring, if you are asking what I think you are asking it is my understanding (which could be wrong) that it is for the trades that they are trying to push...
