To our eternal discredit.
Despite the StatsCan figures to the otherwise, Newmarket-Aurora is probably the stupidest riding in the country, with an MP not too much farther ahead. Ms Stronach could have had a great affect on the CPC government, but sold out for short term gain, now she...
If not, go finish that bottle of rum, perch yourself on top of that moving dolly in the garage, and try it again1....

Jeez, I'm glad we got the G wagen, the Iltis would've only carried about a 2-second burst for this thing. On second thought, even with the 'G' it'll be light packing and a two man crew.... ;D
thx, Kirkhill
Interesting: I just went to lmco.com, and of course, the C-27 is missing from the product list. I wasn't aware of that. I thought Lockheed Martin was still in on the deal.
As for the FCA, now I understand the kerfuffle, the dreaded "Key West Accord" rears its ugly head.... not...
I've been looking around the net on this subject.
Seems like EADS is doing a pretty good slag job on the C27 at c-295.ca.
A couple of things come to mind that I wonder if someone 'in the know' could enlighten me.
On the site (noted above) some rather nasty things are said about the C-27A's...
As to 'path forward' on FWSAR it seems that the USCG has decided on the CN-295 as part of Deepwater, designated HC-144A, see this link, First Coast Guard Maritime Patrol Aircraft Arrives in Elizabeth City
This could be hilarious.
The Americans will never get it though ... I bet it makes the 'Situation Room' in a week while Blitzer et al over dramatize and over analyze the whole thing... (perhaps John Roberts will get a trip home... "live one on one with Jeanne Becker" ... ) wait for the...
It's really quite hilarious to listen to Mr Dossanjh sometimes.
IIRC, in early 2005 DND had pretty much made up it's mind on an SAR aircraft for this application. EADS then whined to Mr Martin and Mr Graham that they had not been given a fair shot.
Despite the speed, range and capacity...

I am watching this now.
An informed person should watch this and pay attention to the witness these persons bear.
A remarkable documentary.
Do not miss this; second part tomorrow.
Not necessarily. Really big reactors have really big heat sinks (like Pickering - Lake Ontario) but small ones can be cooled to the air using radiators, similar to the way a car engine is cooled. (Of course in any case the nasty bits in the moderator are never allowed near the heat sink, the...
They can be very small, the vessel is no bigger than a oil drum in some instances.
The US has done this at Arctic and Antarctic stations. I had a friend of mine, I knew in School, who grew up to be USMC, he knew of one used at Panama to power a water purification plant, a 'couple or three' of...
" .. only people who share common points of view and common goals can be relied upon to be good neighbours."
Interesting point, it seems that a core group is emerging, ABCA, India. With co-opted friends like Japan and the Netherlands.
What would the role of say, la Francophonie, or in more...
308 seats in the House, 154 for a majority (less the Speaker), 155 (with the Speaker).
Conservatives 123
Liberals 103
Bloc Québécois 51
New Democrats 29
Independent 2
So Dippers and Tories (123 + 29 =152, don't quite have it) .
Neither do fLiberals and the Dippers (103 + 29 = 132)
The Bloc...

Didn't know the Dons were so close on that one !
I quite agree with the points on India. India must be brought into this grouping in a very real way, she has the power...
