There are other things in life that people are interested in that don't allow for them being away 100% of the time. Doing the "weekend warrior" thing is the least I could do for my country, or the least I will be doing, for that matter.

Actually, I was in contact with my recruiter today and was told that the course IS 7 weeks, possibly 8. But then again that doesn't mean anything for sure...

So with regards to leaving for BMQ, and coming home from BMQ.. How early do the fly you out to Shilo? 2..3..4 days? And how long after do you fly back to mommy and daddy?

Noo, not math class, my teacher is Chinese, and he yells right in your ear if you don't pay attention. Plus, he's my best teacher, so I like to pay attention to him. But English, YES. lol

Part of the reason why I did well on mine could have been because I'm used to having math class everyday, maybe? My brain gets a good workout I guess.. who knows!

I'm not sure where "The Wack" is, I'll be heading to Shilo, Manitoba. One thing I know, though, is that BMQ is 4 weeks, and SQ is either 3 or 4 weeks, making the course 7 or 8 weeks.

Hey, I was wondering if there's anyone floating around here that will being going out to Shilo, Manitoba for their BMQ this summer, as well..

I didn't study at all, and qualified for all reserve occupations =/ I didn't realize people actually studied for these things, I heard other people there talking about their studying.. oh well, I still did well.

My very first question as "So, Ross, tell me...why do you want to join the Canadian Forces?" The Captain who interviewed me covered education (experiences in school, etc.), previous work places, sports/clubs involvement, personal life, etc. They cover enough for you to go *PHEW!* at the end...
