some cadet corps have numerouse different training nights for different parts of the corps such as the band, drill team, shooting team etc.  One corps (I cant remember which) that my friend used to belong to, used to have training nights for different sports teams on different days.

I generally let them wear whatever they want on their head as long as it is not a street hat or whatever.   its just easier and more comfortable to wear a toque, or tilley hat.  You dont have to worry about losing your capbrass.  I generally try NOT to wear a beret you dont have to worry about...

it was on an excercise in march if i remember correctly and we were authorised to wear anything on our heads, be it a toque, helmet, beret or whatever.

i'm planning on going into the reserves after i graduate, then comming back and volunteering with cadets.  Add a real soldier perspective to the cadet training and give back to the program that has given me so much
