ROTP at Civilian University 2004 - 2018 [Merged]

I am doing my best to stay patient and calm till the offers come out :D I really appreciative all the help I receive from this website, greatly appreciated. However only time will tell if I get accepted and at this point there is nothing I can change so I might as well  just stay as calm and...

    Regular Officer Training Plan (ROTP)-RMC 2000 - 2018 [Merged]

I called one day about a medical issue and the desk-worker informed me I was merit listed, so I assume calling the RC and simply asking the desk-worker; should be good enough. My experience finding out was that way anyways :)

ROTP at Civilian University 2004 - 2018 [Merged]

I understand.. My personal preference is Civi U do to the fact I live literally beside a University haha, however I would still accept RMC... I am worried that I will be "less competitive" because of my lack of RMC eligibility. But yes I understand the University social life from were I live...

ROTP at Civilian University 2004 - 2018 [Merged]

Sorry for awakening an old thread however it leads me to a question I have been searching through google and the army.ca search for awhile.. The highlighted part in yellow is essentially my question, I was selected only "suitable" for Civi U, but my grades are up to par 90%.. blah and all that...

    Regular Officer Training Plan (ROTP)-RMC 2000 - 2018 [Merged]

From my understanding there is both a set amount of people for RMC and Civi U, or was that wrong? I know someone was throwing numbers around in here before that actually said it was essentially 50/50 in the amount of people selected for both, of course that is all heresay. I know I am only Civi...

High school "university credits" are different than that of actual University credits, unless you somehow have 9 credits from an accredited university.

    Regular Officer Training Plan (ROTP)-RMC 2000 - 2018 [Merged]

For the University part of the question, you can still call and tell your recruiter that you would like to put RMC not as you're first choice. However from my understanding they may still offer a placement through RMC. Which I assume someone else who has actually had experience with this could...

I just noticed that, maybe there are less people all together, that'd be nice! Only helps us all out haha

    Regular Officer Training Plan (ROTP)-RMC 2000 - 2018 [Merged]

In all honesty it is still February, and the "2011- 2012" page had 53 pages, in just the past week we have added about 3 pages. I think as things pick up (March, April, May) more people will pop their heads in, and more people will be communicating on their successes and failures. But hey maybe...

    Work or Volunteer

My personal choice would be the job. Getting a job tends to be more difficult then finding a place to volunteer. (In my personal happenings anyways) Take a trip down to a local church, charity, thrift store etc, and see if you can get a place to volunteer there. Another suggestion, is if you...

    Regular Officer Training Plan (ROTP)-RMC 2000 - 2018 [Merged]

My recruiter said my file was sent to and reviewed by RMC to determine I was unsuitable, I assume it is RMC, which makes sense. So I think you're file was simply reviewed and approved by RMC.

    Regular Officer Training Plan (ROTP)-RMC 2000 - 2018 [Merged]

If there is anything I have been taught as of yet about the Forces, it is that many recruiters say many different contradicting things, I don't personally understand how the merit list could be "regional" either. And for my elbow, it is not completely healed however I have been cleared...

    Regular Officer Training Plan (ROTP)-RMC 2000 - 2018 [Merged]

My recruiter said my lack of any math's or sciences, and my, at the time low marks made me unsuitable, I assume even with my new much higher marks; pardon my idioticracy my "unsuitableness" continues haha I was worried about this, but after my interview the recruiter told me I am on equal...
