    AVGP Cougar now out

First time this kit have been available in production-run plastic. It's labelled as an early, but has some 'late' details on it such as TCCCS box. Easy enough to leave off and/or fill in the gap. Looks like it has the later sight ring for the fifty as well. Parts and instructions here: ...

    Leopard 2A4M CAN conversion available

Ah, I didn't know the 2A6 had ad-hoc rear ladders. I was referring to the OEM ones installed on the 2A4's. O/T - has there been any talk among the black hatters about renaming them C3 and/or C4 or C3A1 etc?

    Leopard 2A4M CAN conversion available

They looked different last time I checked. Different departure angles and the rear hull on A4 has the dual folding step ladders. I'd wait and see what the market comes up with before plonking down the $ on a A6 set that I'd throw 80% of away.

Keep your chin up Heavy Reader. I am curious that TB finds that no market was depressed. I spoke with my realtor about this and it common knowledge among those in their field that Edmonton took a dive from 2007 to 2010. I know you were not in the city of Edmonton, but Edmonton has a web site...

That's for the Leopard 2A6M. Won't work for the 2A4M.

No on the HL. Resicast make an iltis (might be re-popped by someone else? Elite?), Historica make the Italian version of the LSVW (might be a SOF variant?), but, a drawing of an Iveco appears on the boxart of Trumpeter's Ariete MBT...maybe they plan on doing one? AFV Club make the M35 2.5...

    AVGP Cougar now out

Picked up the Trumpeter Cougar from the local shop last week. Looks pretty good! Looks to be the first upgrade version; still has skinny tires and turret box instead of basket, but marine drive covers are installed and the dual shocks are there, so figure its accurate for a 1987-1994 +/-...

    Leopard 2A4M CAN conversion available

Looks like there will be a couple more companies doing the 2A4M CAN. No pics yet, but I think both will have the cuda cam moulded in. I would not be surprised if Hobbyboss released their 2A4 kit with a couple new sprues to bring it to 2A4M CAN spec.

LAV-III LORIT conversion for Trumpeter kit

I picked up the LORIT conversion for the AFV Club Stryker kit. Real Model 1/35 scale LAV III LORIT. Item No. 35144 Here's my in-box review: Background The LAV-III entered Canadian Forces service in 1997. The initial contract was for 240 vehicles, but over the years the contract was expanded...

    Leopard 2A4M CAN conversion available

Available from Y-Modelle out of Germany. Kit is designed for the 1/35 Hobbyboss Leopard 2A4 kit. This one does not have the barracuda cam net, so I don't think it can depict an in-service tank. http://shop.y-modelle.de/umbausatz-leopard-2-a4m-canada-p-438.html Price is around 41 Euros with...

"Tunes of Glory" on Turner Classic Movies, Jan. 28, 2000 ET

The book is also very well done. Gives a bit more insight into Sinclair's comments about ghosts. Its a quick read, and it appears the film makers stayed quite true to the novel. The author may have written the screenplay, I'd have to imdb it.. and yep, author James Kennaway did write the...

    Woohoo. 1/35 LAV-III in styrene...

Hi, thanks, always good to have a second pair of eyes go over it before the paint goes on! The pioneer kit guards c/w the kit, I just left them off so it would be easier to paint the tools underneath. There's a circular disk that goes over the hexagonal grill, I assume that's the engine grill...

Hi, I got it from Lucky Model, though its currently out of stock: http://www.luckymodel.com/scale.aspx?item_no=TP01519 For a few $ more, these guys have one left in stock http://store.spruebrothers.com/135-trumpeter-lav-iii-kodiak-wheeled-armored-vehicle-1519-p23533.aspx

    Woohoo. 1/35 LAV-III in styrene...

Here's where mine is at. Still have to add the grenade launchers, C6, and what I think is an LWR on a short mast at the rear of the turret. Fit-wise, its not bad for trumpeter. Which is to say expect to have to sand and file to get a good join. I'm seen some guys point out a few dimensional...

Grizzly and Cougar coming out soon

Nice to see the Blackdog crew. I ordered their LAV-III stowage set, still waiting on it. The US SF figures (set 35003) .. I dunno, something about the way they are posed, they look a bit...effeminate.  BTW Mike, I'm going to do my AVGP up as Edmonton Police Service one.

M - good to know. We have been using the CFTPO history tool to track down the folks in the TF 1-06 HSS coy As for subsequent rotos... unless someone put the HSU up for something, I think the BG medics will go without the commendation.

Yes, that is the response I got from DCBA "mbr made a personal decision to buy a house" What they failed to address was that 'personal decision' was based on written comms from IRP stating my penalties would be 100% covered (not HEAP, a different issue). IRP 's answer was "Sorry we made that...
