Just remember that if your civilian workload becomes a bit much and you feel like you have to get out for longer than ED&T will allow, then go on supplemental reserve instead of getting out completely.  It will be a lot easier to get back in.

I did the full-time school/part-time reserve balancing act.  I couldn't have done it without student loans, however.  What it will come down to is time management or things can snowball to the point where you'll find your studies prevent you from training. 

This is why I'm close to being broke.  There's always something that needs fixing, but when I twist the throttle and hear it roar, I wouldn't have it any other way

One thing that that was mentioned that I do agree with is that DND has morphed into a hugely bureaucratic and inefficient machine.  I'd like to see that change, and if a few people get downsized so that training funds and procurement funding can be freed up I'd be happy.
