    "Nothing secret about Chinook training"

Wondering if any one has the answer to this. Reading the arctical there is a reference to a flight crew of 2 pilots, 2 FE's and a door gunner. In the past the CF has flown the Chinook with  Loadies. I'm wondering if this is correct in that there will be no loadies on the Chinook.

    WW1 Colour Photos

I found another site with some of the same photos, and allot more. It is interesting to note the extent of the work that was done in color during the first world war both from the French though numerous experimenters and also the Australians through the work of  Frank Hurley...

    C-17 and C-47

Great article , funny thing I just flew on one of Buffalo Joe's C-47s to Hay River, great plane to fly in. With that in mind, however I have to wonder if the C-17 will still be flying in 60 years.

Your home FAK (First Aid Kit)

SMMT, I agree whole heartedly with your comments. In my case I often travel more then 4 hours from the closest ambulance (Yellowknife- Hay River- Ft Simpson NWT) and currently I am on a SAR / disaster response team as a medic. However, all my kit fits into 1 small bag. When we look at some of...

Your home FAK (First Aid Kit)

2 considerations, you might think about when preparing a first aid kit: 1) what is your level of training and  2) what type of hazards are you encountering? I mean its cool to have some of the kit ,but if your hazard is a paper cut and your training is SFA well... Having said that, I know for...

    Cadet FA/ Medical stuff..........

    Cadet FA/ Medical stuff..........

Med Corps, 100 percent in agreement. They dint need to be turned into ParamedfireUSAR rsq geeks. They need to be sculptured into persons who will take charge and help stabilize an environment until those second responders get there. And I think if it comes to fruition I believe that this...

    Cadet FA/ Medical stuff..........

Defence/ Light USAR training to kids as young as 14 so this is a worthwhile endeavor and realistic should...

    Reservists Job Protection Superthread

A good move in my opinion. The only thing to remember is that this legislation will still only effect between 8- 10% of the employers that are subject to the Canada Labour Code and therefore subject to this ammendment.
