Where to find photoluminescent tape/cat eye material in Canada

You can find it at some dollar stores, fairly hit or miss, but keep your eyes open.  When you find some, it's a dollar store, so you can buy a lot without breaking the bank, and it might be a while before you find more.  Good luck.

Saving the shins/lower back on ruck marches

Good int so far on preventing the shinsplints... one thing I've found that helps dealing with them was running in water, like at the beach, run straight into the water, try to get to waist deep, then go back for land.  Repeat that a few times.  It may or may not work for you, but I noticed...

    attach posting length

Further to the question, If you are "attach posted" for a deployment for example, as a married member, and home owner, is there any kind of allowances, I.R. or PLD or something to this effect?  That could get pretty tight covering mortgage, food and bills for 9er domestic, as well as R&Q.

Questions about living in barracks after training.

sorry, shoulda said i was talking about pet.  The shacks for the most part are segregated by unit here.  At least the major units.

Questions about living in barracks after training.

Step one, do it. Stay in the shacks for a while.  Resist the urge to apply for a PMQ, or move out on you're own for a while.  The reason for this, save some money.  You are NOT going to find a better cheaper deal.  Too many new guys, get posted in, and rush out of the shacks.  I did it when I...

Afghanistan, is it worth it- Cheating Spouse Thread

+1  very, very, good advice.  If you are going to do it, do some research first, and try to get an idea of what kind of rollercoaster ride you might be in for.  And another tip, never delete anything, a happy email, and angry email.. both ways.. you never know when you might need to prove that...

Augmentee staff for Infantry School Courses

I was hoping to do the CMTT thing, but I've been on TMST and haven't been able to really link up with the clerks at all.  It's been a very hasty tasking, sort of last minute.  I'm not too worried about hauling all the kit and paying if I have to.  I just don't want to be bringing things I won't...
