I would argue that if times change then there is a process to amend the Constitution, but if the government is free to interpret it however it wants through the appointed supreme court, then the Constitution becomes meaningless...
Ron Paul's book "The Revolution" explains this very well.
I still can't fathom why NRC deals with ammo... explosives sure. Normal ammo should be under the RCMP's domain (as I would shitcan the CFC as well). My M14S needs cheaper 7.62NATO, and my Mossin wants cheap 7.62x54R! The SKS wants cheap 7.62x39... bahhh!
I'll add it to the list.
What's really interesting about Lomborg is that he used to be a member of Greenpeace until he realized they were outright lying WRT statistics used to argue their point... of course now there are numerous articles, websites and blogs all dedicated to discrediting...
Thucydides have you read "Cool It! The Skeptical Environmentalist's Guide to Global Warming" by Bjørn Lomborg?
I've seen him speak on the Copenhagen Consensus in Ottawa and read his older but still outstanding book "The Skeptical Environmentalist", anyone interested in the environment and...

2. Anyone who advocates shooting for the leg/arm/gun in the hand etc has likely never carried a firearm professionally.
3. I would take a tasing EVERY TIME over being shot.
Handguns have been registered in Canada since the 30's, IIRC. We would be better served to spend all the time, manpower and money wasted on registration on focus on improving the licencing process. The removal of the face-to-face police interview portion under the old FAC was a big mistake, as...
This is exactly the point of the CCW argument; not to war game the specifics of an individual incident, but to address the tragic reality that Canadians are denied the tools necessary for self-defence. Not only firearms mind you, the Government has outlawed the possession of pretty much any tool...
I did my part, sent the email to T.O. City Council from www.torontothebad.com

Bought a new handgun from CanadaAmmo.com! The new Norc 1911A1 two-toned... at that price I couldn't resist picking up a .45 any longer. Ever since I got some trigger time on Infidel-6's .45 I knew I needed...
