Depending on the weight requirements, I would probably wire the whole system into a 12V Car battery. This is a kinda pricey way to go, but if you get a sealed battery it's probably the easiest to get adapted to all your other DC devices. I really can't think of any lightweight battery systems...

There seems to be compatibility problems with the flash on many of the updated sites, CFLRS being the worst. It seems there is no way to view the page under normal means in Mozilla based browsers, and even in IE the flash version repeatedly forewards to /getflash.asp. Flash is all fine and good...
