How would one go about getting on the DART team? Memos?  I'm a Sig Op about to go on QL3... How long are you part of the team once you're on? Are you still eligible for other deployments?

What are the differences between the options for Sig Op postings once done the QL3?

What about inspections? How often and how difficult are they on course? And what about homework, is there a lot, or enough to take up your evenings?

Not sure if that will be okay, I will assume no since they'll want an accurate record. Anyway, once you're done I'd suggest keeping a copy because you will need to fill out a similar form once you get to basic. I haven't heard anything, I've been on a tasking since late May but I think 5 Pl was getting too big.

It changed a couple weeks ago...Sigs are now in A Coy 1 Pl. My SQ is in Gagetown starting July 5, can't wait for that....

I assume I will be headed to Borden for a while as well, prior to going to Kingston. Is that for SQ? I have 2 weeks remaining in BMQ, and am going SigOp.

I was hoping for some competitive ice hockey, I've read about the base teams in Pet and Halifax and about the annual tourney in Borden, and the inter-base leagues as well. Also, if anyone knows about the calibre of play on the base teams, I wasn't able to find that out on the web. Floor hockey...

Are there any base hockey teams in Kingston? I don't imagine I'll be playing during BMQ in St Jean or during SQ, but was wondering about during Sig Op QL3 in Kingston. Maybe I'll have to wait till Petwawa?

Maybe your friend can just add his credentials with his name when he signs the form. One of my references was from a high school friend who is now a dentist, and he just put the Dr. in front of his name when he signed the reference form. If it doesn't get you "more points", it definitely won't...

Is it common or unlikely to have permission to leave the base on a Saturday at the end of week 5?

You really should ask him what he wants, but I was given a form for allergies and they just needed the form filled out by a doctor.

You just found a good way to save money...if you buy it when you're there you know it's the right thing you're buying, and will avoid buying things twice. Sure there are some things on the list you can buy in advance, but some (like the locks) I would wait for. There's a lot to be said about...

I may have a problem with what to do with my car during BMQ as well. I had a plan but over the holidays things changed and I might have to find a back-up plan. Frank, are you sure the CF will allow you to go back to get it once training is complete? Also, I'm starting BMQ Feb 20 and going...
