    Thinking About A Ford???

Ford is a large international company. A Ford that is sold in Australia could have been made by Mazda in Japan. Ford is part owner of Mazda. I have been involved in racing for many years and no one runs stock vehicles, the adage win on Sunday sell on Monday is very important, I would not be...

    Buying/selling Medals Superthread [merged]

It sounds like a good idea but what happens if people go underground to sell them, and then no one would know. The way we have it now at least we can stop medal sales by purchasing them.

    Mickey Mouse Boots or Mukluks?

The Canadian Armed Forces had a similar boot up until the late 70's. Same problem, feet got wet just from sweating and when you were not moving, after some time your feet would freeze. The mukluks are made for extreme cold, if there is water it is not cold enough, should be at least -10c or 14f...

    AK47 vs. C7 or M16

The biggest difference I found between the C7 and the FNC1 was the weight of the ammo, you could carry twice as much. The C1 with 100 rounds weighed the same as the C7 with 200 rounds. The new Heckler & Koch G11 with caseless ammunition weighs the same with 400 rounds. And it can hold 3, 45...

    Packing a Ruck

I agree with Doug. Onething I do is purchase the large freezer zipbags. I then put in one complete change per bag (1 sock, 1 tee-shirt, 1 underwear) that way in the dark I can find a zipbag of dry change. Garbage bags work great but you can get ruck liners from http://www.wheelersonline.com

Let them all eat poutine is not what I consider proper it is words like that I hear all the time and it is not meant in a positive manner, I am French Canadian from Quebec and I found it racist and uncalled for, yes I might be sensitive but it is drivel like that I hear all the time and it has...

Only in Quebec, they pay you to be lazy

You do not have all the facts. In the past if you where on welfare you had to look for work or they penalized you, that included people with health or mental issues. It was not fair for those who could not look for work. Now if you are not able, you are not penalized, but if you do look for work...

    Dirty boots

Try using dishwashing liquid. I prefer sunlight myself. I also purchased a dish brush; I noticed how good it worked on dishes so I purchased one to clean my boots. I use warm water and then rinse the boots twice. It should clean up most of the diesel fuel and help get rid of the smell.

    Spain is pulling out

I think if they pull out then the terrorists have won, it is a shame. I think that the terrorists will think they won and that they should continue to kill civilian, do not be suprised if it happens in Canada.

    C4 Gas Mask

I guess it is a Infantry mans right to gripe, but if they had the old mask, they would love the new one, especially since you could not drink water with the old one. I remember one summer in Hoinfels (fergot spelling) we did a 1500 metre advance to contact in our full NBCW gear, it was 30...

    C4 Gas Mask

The C4 gas mask is known by many military as one of the world's best mask. First whether it is new or used you should inspect and clean all of the equipment you have received, I would suggest a good dish soap on the mask and then rinse two to three times in clean water. Then sit it on a towel to...

    Who‘s going Reg. 031 Infantry?

I do not find the Vandoo or French jokes very funny, as far as I am concerned it is a form of prejudice and there is no room for it. I speak English with no accent and have found myself listening to this **** for years, just be glad we are not in a bar and you guy's are not saying this **** in...
