Around here some people steal the magnets to "protest" the "war".  So they just steal them and toss them.  I've had to replace quite a few off my family's vehicles.  No comments....

Aye, you're right.  I only thought of that because I was gunner on a g-wagon that flipped quite a few times in a short period of time and we ended up calling it that way.  But yeah, it's not in the same sense as you mentionned.  Thanks for the precision.

Did you get rallying orders, or a course pack, or a pile of papers with a list of things to bring and where to be and at what time?  If you did, chances are you should have some contact somewhere on those papers.  If not, try and find your BMQ section 2IC or even IC, or what Recce said.

Where would one go to try on a few of these boots before buying? I'm looking into buying me some footwear for my barge-sized feet.

Thing to not forget, as was mentioned in previous topics, all 2nd line task forces, namely 2-7, 4-7, 2-8, 4-8 and on are no more.  The last ones were 2-6 and 4-6, which did not deploy, except some elements of 4-6 to re-inforce in Afghanistan.  As far as I know, only 1 and 3-7 and 1 and 3-8 are...

This Facebook thing is spreading like the plague.  I've received phone txt msgs at 2:30 AM from people telling me to join that thing.  I'm currently fearing it.  Insane I tell ya...
