Now I'm just confused. Am I not supposed to use chain of command? Give orders to NCOs who pass them on to the NCMs?
Unless giving a direct order to an NCM ("I need you to do this/go there").
So then how does an officer lead exactly, other than making decisions/giving orders in the field?
That was a good post, gun runner, and is actually what I thought an officer was supposed to do: lead by example. As in, doing it yourself and making sure everyone does it as well.
You'll have to back this up.
Though this is somewhat of a tangent since I'm sure abused women was not one of the primary reasons the French decided to ban burqas.
I don't understand.
The reason you are making a public stir is because you disagree with it, vehemently.
That is how you show others, and the government that you disagree with X.
Displaying this is a form of protest and a form of "speech".
As far as I know, burning my bible/koran/qur'an/flag...
The officer in question needed to have a reason to inconvenience a citizen. I doubt he would be stopping any mexicans (I'm not gonna sugar coat it) who were rolling around in honda civics or otherwise. Those who seemed like they were driving erraticlally, drove beaters and\or spoke little to no...

Funny to an extent, but I find it somewhat disrespectful.
Agreed. I feel as though this is a form of entrapement. Fooling the driver into thinking there's a child on the road is a recipe for an accident. Someone will swerve and the result will be tragic.
