I'll agree with sending in the Canadian Rangers as an aboriginal face to the operation but maybe some Engineers to shore up/build a proper water & sewer system. But what they really need is an accounting firm to find out where that $90-million over 6-yrs has gone. I'm not math whiz but that...
Agreed with all of the above. But what I found hilarious was when they went from being "protesters" to "students". Which is it? Are you occupying to "protest" Wall Street and/or High Tuition or are you students blocking the path of police effectively detaining them. Not a bright move if you...
Ya, I thought the same thing when I was told I couldn't bring my nail clippers with the file to Wainwright back in 2000. Here we are flying to a base inside Canada, entirely military, and we can't bring a SMALL nail file? What are my chances of even reaching the cockpit let alone taking out a...
It's sad that we have to share a planet with these people. They actually think there will be no more virgins if women drive. ROFL. If there were every people holding the rest of the planet back it would be that part of the world.
RMS Clerk. But as people have been getting offers recently I'm not sure what the impact will be.
But, my file manager says that it isn't TOO bad if they sit before I'm cleared medically as they focus more on those who need to do basic and not those (like me) who have recruit school bypass.
No hope for me I don't think. I was told my med file at MRO in Ottawa was requested to be done urgently as selection was due to sit on Dec 1 but as they deal with files from across Canada I could be SOL. A file can take up to six-months to get reviewed and as I was 3B with 11-yrs in it could...
Finish your degree in my opinion. And having one doesn't mean you have to go the officer route. In my platoon back in the day, well, 8-yrs or so ago, we had a couple of NCMs with degrees: One even had a degree in Bio-chem or something like that. He would have made a fine officer but that...
I never understood this either. They expect ALL trades to be able to dig a trench, fire a weapon accurately and all that jazz covered by the Universality of Service yet they don't give out live ammo for BASF. I understand the safety thing but if you're expected to deploy and carry weapons you...
Gotta agree with Halifax on this one PMedMoe. Regardless of trade you should be required to pass the PWT every year. It's not really her failing as much as it is the systems. And in today's military I'd be sad if every person didn't at least hit the ranges 2-3 times per year.
