You certainly cannot hide that info from the RC, they will have access to your medical file anyway plus if you where found to be lying/hiding info I think it's a safe bet to say you won't have a chance at applying. Personally I would wait due to the fact that your healing is not guaranteed and...

That's wierd that they seem to be primarily booking the "hot jobs" as i have applied for avn which is one of those and they tell me that the training is backlogged. I'm considering giving them my 2nd and 3rd choice of jobs since i only applied for one.

Somewhat of an update... Got a call today and AVN's are currently backlogged in training so they don't know when the next opening is "closed until further notice" so i have to decide to either wait it out for who knows how long or change trades...I'll look into MSE OP see what that's all about...

I've seen a few threads that have referenced this one in regards to pay scales, the old guys giving new guys trouble for asking questions then tell them to "go to this thread" and so when someone does that, if you check none of the links in said thread are working so that kind of makes it...

yeah im getting the same things for weeks on number 3, instead i just press number 1 and talk to the recruiter then they usually redirect me. I think your best bet is to go talk to them physically, but remember its' not Vancouver anymore it's on Royal Ave in New West

Best I can tell by reading and watching the Basic up series is that during basic you get trained on just the standard rifle. My question is, do we get trained on other weapons (machine guns, grenades etc) since not all of us are going to be a combat trade? Im applying for AVN TECH but won't...

well i can settle for second in line ;) we may be headed off to basic together seeing that were both at the same stage and are waiting for the same thing. Ill look for the AVN guy from Nova Scotia ;)
