according to the PO that did my medical, the file would not leave the recruiting centre or his office and did not proceed another step until he got the additional medical doc's that were requested.
Anyone else been waiting a lifetime to get docs out of DRDC Toronto?? Did you know the PLD in TO is a $1000 a month but it's only $100 in Borden area, where half of TO commutes from?
The following is a quote from "C17A: Operation Enduring Freedom Employment/Deployment: Lessons Observed". Lt Col, M. R. Shanahan, USAF 9 Dec 02. p. 29
"Airfield Conditions
Due to severe FOD potential to the engines, crews were always guarded, especially in the AOR. Several key issues at these...
Thanks for the info. They should probably change the name of the document from "JTF2 Pre-selection Physical Fitness Training Program" to "Top Secret, probably won't give it to you if you ask" publication.

I think command had a unique sense of one oneupmanship and competitiveness that is not...
There's a wiki on the CAR organization etc here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canadian_Airborne_Regiment seems to coincided with some of my foggy recollections.
When I was with the 1st Battalion, we pretty much figured the 3rd Battalion was ineffective anyways....seriously though, good point. Another reason to increase recruiting and bring the Battalion strengths back up again.
