HAHA! I just came on here to see if anybody else noticed that. I was waiting to see if anybody managed to decorate the bottom of the cup and there it was as soon as they raised it; no mistaking the red sticker.
Another "help me with the CFAT" thread? Outstanding. The 26 page CFAT thread doesn't contain any useful information.
I know how you feel (except for sacrificing a flying career). I have been waiting on an ASC date since late August after submitting my dates to my File Manager (I am also in a CT that began about 8 months ago. I am not complaining - I get the recruiting process). Because of

No. You will hear "Well Bloggins, I find you suitable (or not) for a career in the CF". If you are suitable, you move on to the next stage which is usually waiting for the offer if everything else has been completed. You could also be merit listed (put on a waiting list); it depends.

So, if you have been waiting for an ASC date for a while, are they still going to process you or are you put on the shelf until next year? (I have been waiting for an ASC date since mid-September). I want to transfer within the Reserves, but I didn't want to proceed until I had more info on my...
They will use what they can from your previous application. Call them, find out how long you have to wait before reapplying (if you do have to wait) and what items are still valid. The end.
Good luck.

jzaidi1,
You could really enjoy flying off the island or in Brampton and until you have given that a chance, don't feel so bad about it. You make good money; why not get an aerobatic rating once your PPL is out of the way? Trust me, it is loads of fun!
Good luck with your studies and ratings.
Go to the recruiting centre and apply for Reg Force Pilot. They will have you complete a Vision Acuity test with a civilian doctor. Good luck.
EDIT: Actually, you will complete a basic vision test at the recruiting centre the day of your medical. Then, if you are V2 or better, you will have...
Thanks Tech, the Raptor is something else isn't it? Thrust vectoring, cruises above mach without using afterburner, has the radar signature of a bee; not bad for roughly $90 million a piece.
I wish I had a camera that produces something else other than grey dots in the sky (I didn't even...
Thank you Rick. I anticipated changes to both the DEO and CEOTP numbers in 2008, but I didn't think they would adjust the ROTP numbers. I figured, if anything, that because of the recent announcement and the anticipated amount of applications, CEOTP would be closed in 2008 for 032. I was...
