Ravanosh I think your comments have some merit. The point about the level of experience of the average applicant off the street is a known issue within the CF and has different ramifications depending on Service/Branch/Trade etc. both positive and negative. I would be willing to bet a dollar...
Current Hercs are painted dark Grey with Light Grey markings. CF opted to paint the J the same as the C-17 ie USAF light matte grey with darker markings.
Zoomie's advice is very sound, the financial benefits are also significant when CTing to the Regular force since your pay rate must be higher or the same as your reserve pay - which means you'll be a 2LT IPC 3 or 4 vice 1.

I enrolled under CEOTP (2006) and was promoted to 2Lt upon completion of BOTP. Two seperate CEOTP instructions exist I believe you would fall under the new one like me.
