Thats awsome. I was looking around at the different types of Medals that could be awarded and I came across this story. http://www.aircadetleague.com/AGeneral/Extraordinary_People/larkins_e.html I think what that Air Cadet did was above and beyond anything I have heard before.

I forgot the source that told me this, but what I remember is that when the Arctic Region CADPAT is reversed, it is more grey, which is meant to be a Urban Enviorment type of CADPAT. The Urban CADPAT is still under developement. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I always wondered if you are givin the choice to live on the base if you live to far from it to drive there all the time. If houses like these are in existant, which I am sure they are, are they free or do you gotta pay?

So does that mean that even Reserve Air Officers will be getting those CADPAT parkas-or should have them? I know that they arn't issued regular CADPAT's because they've told me that they have to get olive's for now, till the CF can afford to give a set of CADPAT's to every reserve officer in the...

Are they waterproof as advertised? ( Not only water resistant ). If so, does that mean I can go walk around a ankle-high bed of water and be 100% dry? That would be awsome  :D. And whats this about not affective on ice? They are suppose to be really warm in cold conditions also...

Does anybody here have Goretex's. I'm planning on buying a pair. Are they worth it?

I know that in my squadron, it is very difficult to get promoted, and you shouldn't assume that a certain element gives promotions away like candy. I know some squadrons that do it, and I think it sucks.

My Flight Officer said that you had to quit cadets before you can join the Reserves. Is this true? Sorry if this question has already been asked/answered.
