No, I'm talking about after basic and SQ.

I start basic on jan 11 so I just had one question. Would I be trained on all vehicles eventually or would I be working with just one or two types?

I got it today for reg force armoured crewman. It's a conditional offer becuause I have to take the PT test again since my first PT file expires on dec 3. I'm so exited and also nervous at the same time! I started the process april 1.

Armour and infantry

I started on May 31 and was merit listed on Sept 20. So I guess I shouldn't complain about waiting...

I'm waiting for either armour or infantry job offers (reg force) but I was merit listed on Sept 20 so I guess I missed the infantry selection   :crybaby: Anyone know when they select for armour? Thats my first choice.

I hope they do, I don't want to see a bunch of guys in speedos....

I've been meaning to ask, what IS that strip of paper for?

I'm going reg force and my choices are armour, infantry and firefighter (in that order). Does anyone know when they start choosing people from the list for those trades or do they just just pick people at random times? I'm so happy now that my med file came back after 8 weeks, I was getting...

Files expire? How long does it take for them to expire?

I think I read in the FAQ that you get a combat knife in your kit. Oops, just checked again, it's just a pocket knife.

Are electric razors allowed?
