Just wanted to add this partial list of those who died on the flight to give some sense of the scope of the impact to the Polish senior government and military.
A full list of those who died in the plane crash has not been released as of this time, but some of the names have been confirmed...
As a fellow newbie, let me say welcome to the forum.
Agreed.
Overstated, but confidence in the officers and men of the CF is a good thing. As for your opinion on equipment and training, I strongly disagree. Yes the job will probably get done regardless but not with the same proficiency or...
Plenty people in University are able to do both their education and summer Primary Reserve trade courses.
You are 16, so I'd say no rush even if you do wait.
How long is the Med Tech course?
Perfectly understandable reaction.
However, not everyone who signs up at day zero is doing so with the intention of doing 30, 25, or even 10 years in the Forces. How much time in is sufficient to justify joining in the first place? Going into any employment without an exit plan and giving some...
Still.
Imagine if you put the commanding Generals of the US Army, US Marine Corps, US Air Force, US Navy and US Special Operations Command on one plane.
Then added the President and other members of his senior cabinet.
Then it crashed.
This should NEVER have been allowed and I fail to...
Given the high ranking nature of the passengers and the flight itself, I have to consider the possibility of a deliberate act.

Go signals.
If one of your primary concerns is being able to sell your military trade on a civilian resume within a time frame of less than 10 years, it will be easier than should you join the infantry IMO.
Unfortunately, most of what I owned could not be sold under the "grandfather" clause of the Firearms Act.
I owned the firearms as a "sports shooter" and was in the process of being reclassified as a collector but the system made it so difficult that I essentially just "gave up" on firearm...
I turned in my own civilian owned firearms in 2008.
Bottom line I just wasn't firing them enough to justify having them in the house. I still miss em from time to time, given that there is no way I can ever replace most of them... at least, not in Canada.
All purchased between 1991 and 1992...
While I was well off the ground by the time, the fall of Srebrenica remains one of my most significant personal failures and it continues to bother the hell out of me whenever I think about it.
Having said this, if this general can't accept that it was a lack of international leadership and...
There seems to be this general notion that the gratuity disappeared now that the pension is in place.
I can confirm that members releasing from the reserve, if they have the qualifying periods of service, get both.
