Appeal Process - Who pays for it?

It was my understanding that you could apply for an "Intent for an appeal", when it reaches the appeal board they decide if you could appeal the decision (whatever it is). My question is, Does the crown pay for the appeal? or is it out of your own pocket?

Forgive me if this question has been asked before, I did search for it but came up empty handed!  What is a severe reprimand /reprimand exactly? My guess it'S just strictly administrative! Could someone tell me or give me the reference for this? Thanks

    VAC wait times

OA meaning Osteoarthritis. You pretty much nailed it. The 5% was from the labral tear, the other 10%, I think it's from the OA but I'm not sure as the letter does not really say that except they just grouped them together. Just wanted to make sure that this is the norm...

    PERs : All issues questions...2003-2019

I agree that PER's should be no surprise if the Mbr is honest! PDR's is the same thing, should be no surprises.   Not getting PDR's is very lazy, that had happen to me, no initial, no PDR's, no nothing, PER was blank. I put in a grievance and was told by my CO that I don't have to get a PDR...

    PERs : All issues questions...2003-2019

There is one thing about the new PER system, there is the potential to have a blank PER based on the bubbles. I personally is not a big fan of that particular part.

    VRAB

    PERs : All issues questions...2003-2019

I once did that, but my CoC thought it was a dumb idea. Some of my Cpl's fail to see the logic behind this. They will probably learn the hard way and wish they had exposure to the CFPAS program! I think that PDR's and PER' should be taught more frequently on certain courses!

    PERs : All issues questions...2003-2019

I know when I did my PLQ 5 years ago, there was very limited exposure to PDR's. The majority of exposure a person gets is thru hands on experience. Do the same apply to officers?

    Expansion of Diagnosis

Because this new to me, is this normal procedure for VAC, should I be appealing this? A ex vac clerk had told me before that it should be "1 claim for 1 condition and 1 assessment for each condition, not to be combined" Does this sound accurate? Should I be asking for another Medical assessment...

    Expansion of Diagnosis

Can someone explain to me why VAC includes different diagnosis into 1 diagnosis? In my situation, I developed a Labral Tear in my hip,( favourable decision from VAC), it was surgical repaired, after the surgery I developed Osteoarthritis and because of that, now I have chronic pain. VAC decided...

    VAC Disability Adjudicator Job Poster

I have nothing against nurses, I think that they play vital part in our health care system, but I'm not 100% sold that this is best position for a nurse. I always wanted to know what qualifications these people (Adjudictor) often hold!

    Leadership

thank you all for your thought. I would like to say that I am far from sensitive. I just had enough of this continuous type of  this kind of stuff in this unit. this is notthe first time that this particular officer have spoken like this. Nothing ever gets rectified appropriate. If I was to...

    Leadership

the unit is relatively small medical clinic. There are three care delivery units that hold approx 15-20 pers in total. The officer in charge is an medical officer.   The clinic usually see 60-100 patients a day. The current triage / traffic works fine. One particular MO wants to change a system...
